English pastor, Peter Leigh, travels to planet Oasis to teach the bible to the Indigenous population.
A private American corporation, USIC, hires Peter to do this missionary work.   Peter’ health starts to decline and his relationship with his wife starts to suffer as well.
Beatrice, Peter’s wife, is in planet earth. She informs her Peter (via emails) about earth’s catastrophes: tidal waves, earthquakes, violence, flooding etc.

Peter must make a decision to remain in Oasis or return to planet earth.
This is thought-provoking, science fiction novel.  It has themes of evil corporations and environmental disasters.  The story line is character driven and complex.  This is a must read.
